Where is Stone Oak?
We are located in Murchison, Texas. We have a google map to the venue on our Contact page. Please do not put our street address into your GPS unless you want to take a very scenic tour. We suggest you put "Murchison, Texas" into your GPS and follow the directions below from there!
If Coming from the East:
Once arrived in Murchison, at the blinking yellow light, FM 773, take a right. Go one block over the railroad track and make an immediate right on Bankhead Street, which will turn into CR 3807. Go .9 miles and you will see the entrance for Stone Oak Ranch on your right.
If coming from the West:
Once in Murchison, at the blinking yellow light, FM 773, take a left. Go one block over the railroad track and make an immediate right on Bankhead Street, which will turn into CR 3807. Go .9 miles and you will see the entrance for Stone Oak Ranch on your right.
How many guests can Stone Oak accommodate?
We can accommodate up to 200 guests seated inside our reception barn, as well as our outdoor chapel and pergola archway ceremony sites. We are able to seat additional guests outside, but client must make special arrangements.
How do I schedule a tour at Stone Oak?
We invite you to come see what makes us special! You can schedule a tour by calling us at 903-530-4201, emailing us at [email protected], or by using our Contact page.
How much does a wedding cost at Stone Oak?
We can accommodate almost any budget. We offer a venue only option as well as two all-inclusive packages.
Does Stone Oak allow outside vendors?
We allow outside vendors at no extra cost.
Do you have items available to rent?
We have an entire website of rental items available to our brides at little to no cost.
What are your rules on alcohol?
We require a security guard arranged through Stone Oak Ranch if alcohol is present at your event. Guests may not be served alcohol until the start of the reception. You must provide your own alcohol. Alcohol may not be served for more than 4 hours. If you have over 50 guests, you must have a TABC certified bartender booked through Stone Oak. Please let us know in advance if you plan on serving alcohol.
Do you provide tables, chairs and linen?
Yes, we include tables, beautiful wooden chairs, and a choice of ivory, white, black or brown linen tablecloths.
Is there lodging in the vicinity?
Many of our wedding guests stay in Athens, Texas, which is less than 10 miles from Stone Oak Ranch. Tyler and Lake Palestine are less than 30 miles from Stone Oak and offer a variety of suitable lodging options.
